Montgomery County Jail has linked LiveScan booking fingerprints directly to the Highway Patrol repository since 2006. Digital booking photographs have linked to jail documents since 2007. CJIS says it updates criminal histories daily as reports arrive. Daily updates do not make MACHS identical to a jail file or court docket. Missing dispositions, delayed reporting, older events, incomplete identifiers, and lawful closure can still produce differences.

Arrests Are Not Convictions
An arrest means an officer took a person into custody or otherwise began an arrest process based on alleged facts and legal authority. A conviction requires a court judgment of guilt. Prosecutors may file a different count, decline to file, dismiss a charge, or resolve only part of a multi-count case. A booking record cannot supply that final result.

For an identity mismatch in MACHS, follow CJIS challenge instructions and use fingerprints to establish identity. For incorrect content, contact the originating agency or court and provide proof of the right disposition.
Custody Beyond Montgomery County Arrests
Montgomery County Jail records do not cover every later place of custody. A sentenced state prisoner or person under state probation or parole may appear in Missouri DOC Offender Search.
